YOU MUST BE 2+ TO READ THIS BLOG

Ok. I am a blogger who LOVES to spy. It's a bad habit. I am a journalist, because I write about fashion and style. I also write about what famous celebrity icons (think Marilyn, or Twiggy) inspire me and I put together outfits that are inspired by those pictures. You may think of me as the style spy. But you can call me The Journalist.

If Tim Burton chose Ashley Tisdale to play Alice, she would get fired the first day.

Tim Burton's take on Alice in Wonderland is coming to theaters March 5th. Rising star Mia Wasikowska, who plays Alice in the film, was on the cover of Teen Vogue this season. And if a new model, singer or rising actress (like Mia herself) were on the cover of Teen Vogue, they WILL become famous. Even stars become starstruck.Just like Mia-with Johnny Depp, known as the Mad Hatter in the movie. "Working with Johnny Depp was great-I was a little starstruck!" Mia quotes in Teen Vogue. You know how people say stupid rapper Ke$ha will become the next Lady Gaga? Well, I think Mia will become the next Abbie Cornish. Ready for the Oscars yet, Mia?

Somebody, Somebody, Somebody, Somebody. Can anybody find me?

So I've been thinking of advertising my blog-the old-fashioned way. Handing out papers that have a link to my website. Yep- doing it old school. I know moast people nowadays advertise by-well-actually I don't really know. Maybe, it's that my facebook posts are too boring! Yup, that's it.I am a genius. Boy, I'm in the mood for Reese's Pieces...

Kourtney and Kendra: Both have names that start with K, both have sons.

Kendra Wilkinson and Kourtney Kardashian both had newborn sons around the same time. Both cute, and both chubby. The fathers are, well-happy to be fathers of course! Kourtney's newborn son has been named Mason Dash Disick. And Kendra's new son is named Hank Baskett IV, after the father, Colts Outfielder Hank Baskett. On far left, Baby Mason with mom Kourtney Kardashian. On left, Baby Hank IV with Kendra and Hank (inset).

They started as a small band, now they're #1 on iTunes.

When I first knew the Black Eyed Peas, I remember hearing Don't Phunk with my heart. In 2009, they made a huge comeback. When they're hit album, THE E.N.D (The Energy Never Dies) first came out, People knew the album from the first album hit, Boom Boom Pow. People danced to it, even had it on their iPods, when it first came out. Later, a new hit came out from the album, a little song you may know as I Gotta Feeling, that was in people's heads for months. 1 week later, that song was number 1 on the charts. Then, a not-so-famous song appeared that I wasn't too crazy for, called Meet Me Halfway. And right now, number 1 on the charts they have a song out called Imma Be. I can't get it out of my mind.

Haiti is the new Africa

Haiti recently got hit with a 7.0 earthquake. Before that, they were enjoying the sun, nobody was really rich, but they all had happy lives. But in early January, On The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, I heard the horiffying news. A week later I saw pictures, and it killed me. It really hurt seeing kids MY AGE not getting the treatments they needed. The prison crumbled down as well. Now all the criminals are out. Oh boy. Haiti is a small country, but this mainly happened to Port-au-Prince. Even the President of Haiti doesn't have a place to live. Before any of this happened, we felt the same way about Africa. They were a very poor continent, and they were suprisingly low on water supply. Of course, the late King of Pop Michael Jackson didn't waste his time. He managed to write a song. You may know it as WE ARE THE WORLD with a bunch of different artists such as Lionel Richie, Whitney Houston and more. The money that they got for making that song, they donated to africa. Now there is a new We Are The World. Now with Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Wyclef Jean, Justin Bieber and more. If you buy that on iTunes, the money will go to Haiti. I reccomend buying that, or, the Hope For Haiti in including artists like Justin Timberlake, Coldplay, Bono, Kid Rock, and Much more. Let's all make a change.

ART: Everything, anything, and experience

Ok, Even if you were a TODDLER but you lived in New York, you would know exactly what art is. Abstract is my favorite type of art, mostly because I love Picasso. I mean, did you see that painting of his girlfriend? She looked like a snorkling pig! Art is amazing, sometimes seeing so many beautiful pieces of artwork inspires me to be an artists. Boy, if my mom wanted to take ME to a place in The city, Like Fendi or Cartier, or anywhere in the Diamond District, I would say no-take me to a museum. New York City has the best museums. Like the Brooklyn Museum of art, The metropolitan museum of art, and my personal favorite-MoMA- The Museum of Modern Art. You see I went there today, seeing all the beautiful paintings and sculptures, it made me realize something. Something that changed my life. Art-Isn't always perfect. Art can be precise, and it can be the worst painting you have ever seen in your life. But Art is Art. When I went to MoMA today, my favorite part was looking at the Andy Warhol paintings and the Tim Burton exhibit. I love his art, I saw the corpse bride, A nightmare before Christmas-and I'm dying to see Alice in Wonderland and Edward Scissorhands. You might think it's weird I haven't seen Edward Scissorhands yet, since the movie is, like, from 1990. But I really want to see it. So remember, there is no right or wrong when it comes to Art.

Lewis and Clark: The Journalist version

Ok, I barely know anything on these probably dorky explorers. That's why I'm telling the story MY way.

One day, there was this boy named Dakota and the other, Khaideila. Khaideila said,"We must get rich and dress in only the finest Chanel and Versace! We must meet Versace and we must meet Chanel, too!" Dakota was a very grumpy man. For no reason sometimes! But this time, he had the right to be annoyed. "Chanel AND Versace are both dead you idiot." Khaideila was a strong-woman??? Than a man from the big city had come his name was Joe Jonas Sr.
He took them to New York City. Dakota was actually-flattered. He pointed and looked everywhere. "What's that?" Khaideila asked with a hint of happiness. "Not sure. Maybe an ocean." Joe sighed. Look who it is!!! It's Amelia Earhart! (What was she doing at that time period???) "Hi! Amelia Earhart!" Dakota pointed out. The woman gave him a strange look. "I am not Amelia Earhart! I am Amy Adams! I played her in a movie though, I see why you are confused. "Who is this Amy Adams?" Khaideila asked? "She's from the year 2006 or something-it's complicated. Hey YEAR 2006! I had a song that went something like that! I SAID I'VE BEEN TO THE YEAR 3000, NOT MUCH HAS CHANGED BUT THEY LIVED UNDERWATER, AND YOUR GREAT GREAT GREAT GRANDAUGHTER
IS DOIN FINE!" Dakota and Khaideila looked to themselves in complete confusion. They didn't have the faintest idea what he was talking about! "Dakota, look who it is!" Khaideila shouted, excitedly. "Oh, great." He said. It was Khaideila's best friend, Sacajawea. Dakota thought Sacajawea was annoying annoying annoying! "Khaideila, look who it is!" Dakota jumped up in joy. "Oh, brother." Khaideila sighed. It was Dakota's beautiful girlfriend, Pocahantas. Khaideila didn't like Pocahantas. AT ALL. Why? That remains a secret. Let's get back to the totally mental, Joe Jonas Sr. Man! I should've started with this! Ok, It was the year 1442. When they sailed to New York, nobody knew what it was called. Dakota loved the word New because it reminded him of shiny brand new things. Khaideila thought of York because she loved eating York peppermint patties. Finally they landed in New York City. They made people come from foreign countries to New York so they could have people live there. Then they made the country legal in 1444 by President Charles Schumer. And that is my story of the people who discovered New York. Dakota and Khaideila.

The girl with glee: Dianna Agron

How is it that Lea Michele is not only the star on the show, (her character is drama queen Rachel Berry), but soaks up the spotlight for the whole cast? The girl who should get as much fame as that is Lea's co-star, Dianna Agron. We all may know her as mean-girl-turned-fun-girl cheerleader Quinn Fabray. The 23-year old Glee actress is my favorite part of the show, and I love all the rest of the glee girls, too. I read in real life, she's dating actor Adam Brody. And the guy she likes in the show, Mark Salling (we may know him as Puck) is dating Audrina Patridge!

For people, who don't watch Glee (I have no idea how you don't but...) Dianna plays a cheerleader who got pregnant but her boyfriend, Finn isn't the father. Puck is. Now, she is starting to like Puck more than she likes Finn. Meanwhile, obnoxious-yet-hilarious coach Sue Sylvester (played by Jane Lynch) kicks her off the cheer-ios because she's pregnant. And now that she's off the squad, she's been welcomed to the new world order. And people who are in Glee, are not popular and are complete losers to the cool crowd. And to show the hatrid they had for the glee people, they throw a slushy in her face. No, literally! they get a slushy from the soda machine, and throw in their faces. Now Quinn is afraid people will do that to her. Since Finn & Quinn aren't the IT couple any more.

Tik-Tok Ke$ha, your shot for the big time is running out.

Ok, Can't you even GUESS what this segment's gonna be about? Bubble-gum rap girl Ke$ha, of course! I have SO many things to say. First of all, what is the point of a dollar sign in her name??? Why can't it just be plain old S? That's crazy. And, People magazine viewers voted HATE IT! on the dollar sign in her name. Next, her hit song Tik Tok? HOW THE HECK DID THAT GET #1 ON iTUNES?! She has a weird, kinda scratchy, tone to her voice. Also, when she does performances, why does she wear this ton of glittery shadow on just one eye? That's-also-crazy. And the CRAZIEST thing of all-and I don't know how people think this-but people think she might be the 2010 Lady Gaga! How is that? I think we all know Ke$ha will NEVER in a million years (even if Gaga is still alive) reach Lady Gaga levels. Ever.

You see, there's a difference between being geekish and all tech, and actually being cool.

My, like, go-to site is youtube. I go there everyday. You see, I have my own video on YouTube. With my awesome cousin. It's called: MC Lately. And I would like YOU to be the first to comment on it. It's called MC lately because her name starts with M and my name starts with C, and we tape it at night. It's fun to make videos!-not like I'm a geek or anything....

My life is normal. But it WILL get better.

The best part of my life is that I have a loving (urban-yes!) family who loves me, the most PERFECT laptop for me, and an awesome school. You see, both my parents were born in Brooklyn, NY. And they both did grafitti when they were young. I mean, grafitti is art! But, truthfully, it isn't fair to do on other people's property. So let me tell you more about ME.

OK. In school we are studying explorers. My friends are doing Amerigo Vespucci. I'm doing Cortes. I know he was bad and all, killing all those Mayans-I mean Aztecs!- with his small army. And he stole all of their land, but I wanted to be different! When, I got home today, I finished up my report about Hernando Cortes, while listening to Lady Antebullum's "Need you now" about ten times. Then tidied up my room, while listening to "Stranded" from the Hope For Haiti album. Oh, and my favorite instrument is the drums. Play it in the school band.

Why can't my life be normal? I'm a good person!

It's funny how certain things come and go. Like fresh grapes, from a vine! They perish the next day. That's how things are with my middle school choices. You see, I want to go to this school called Berkeley Carroll. Then I found out it was a private school. Then, well, my dreams were crushed. So, I want to go to any middle school that has a journalism class. I NEVER understood why people got aressted for grafitti (I live in NYC). I mean, it's our culture. It's art. It's part of being an urban type of person. Wait...HOW DID I GET INTO GRAFITTI TALK? I WAS TALKING ABOUT MIDLLE SCHOOL! Whatever. I love that I am a city child. My life is crazier than you would think any NORMAL kid's life was.Go to school. Do work. Eat lunch. Play tag or jump rope. Social Studies on boring explorers. Then, my favorite part comes. I take the bus home with my friends, Deirdre and Ella. that's where all the drama is. People having massive fights-over a stuffed animal. My friends-for the strangest reason-remind me of the beatles. Ella, like Ringo, Deirdre like Paul. But the best thing is NO ONE is crazy for writing like I am. What a life.

Lea Michele: Glamourous Movie Star

Wow! I canot believe Lea Michele pulled off the full-blown glamour look from the '60's. She looked like a young Rita Hayworth. Left, Glee's Lea Michele in Oscar de la Renta.

A pixie! And I'm not just talkin' about the haircut.

My icon? Amelia Earhart? Stephen Colbert? Yeah, ok. Think Twiggy! Her pixie haircut will inspire ANYONE who wants to get a pixie like that. Stylish, of course. Did I mention she's my icon? Oh, yeah. I started with that.

Green with envy! No, Literally.

I gotta tell you, when I first saw this gown (Dior) at the golden globes, the lace inset caught my eye. But the emerald satin fabric of the gown was just as gorgeous. Left, Actress Marion Cotillard in Dior. Published by The Journalist. Inspiration from my favorite jewel-an emerald.

Kate Hudson must be a magpie.

Look at these outfits Kate Hudson wore at her Harper's Baazer shoot. There so glittery and sparkly! Kinda reminds me of a robot. A very stylish one.
